- Modern Product Roadmapping for AI-Driven Teams
The traditional Scrum backlog, story points, sprint planning and Gantt charts were designed around a relatively predictable relationship between human development effort and delivered software.
- External review of v0.2: critical review and final recommendations
I agree with the direction of v0.2, but I would not publish it unchanged. It is substantially stronger than v0.1, particularly in separating product decisions, engineering coordination and verification. However, the research reveals some important overlap with existing frameworks, several forecasting assumptions that need correction, and a major opportunity to sharpen the economic thesis.
- Assessment of the external review of v0.2
Mostly yes. The review catches real mistakes in v0.2, and I'd accept most of its changes. I'd push back on its thesis wording, the forecasting remedy, and one metric, and I couldn't verify one of its competitors.
- Alpha readiness review of v0.3: green light for public alpha
Yes. I would approve SLICE Framework v0.3 for public alpha testing, with a few small corrections before publication.
- Naming the framework: research
SLICE is a strong name, but it is not the only good name—and I would not commit to it yet.
- Naming and versioning assessment
Release v0.3.1 now, and choose and clear the public name before the repository goes public. Alpha testing with invited teams can start under the working name.
